My sweet, amazing, incredible, wonderful (Have I used enough adjectives there?) husband makes every day of my life a fairy tale come true. A man like that deserves a sweet, amazing, incredible, wonderful, fairy tale come true kind of birthday cake, don't you think? I had a lot of fun with this one - a triple-layer chocolate-and-yellow polka dot cake, iced with rich chocolate frosting and decorated with white chocolate frosting filigree.
My inspiration for this one comes from Once Upon A Pedestal.
The frosting is that same white chocolate frosting (and it's semi-sweet chocolate counterpart) I keep going back to from Erin's Food Files. I just can't get enough of it!
